Carrier Current System "A system, or part of a system, that transmits radio frequency energy by conduction over the electric power lines. A carrier current system can be designed such that the signals are received by conduction directly from connection to the power lines (unintentional radiator) or the signals are received over the air due to radiation of the radio frequency signals from the electric power lines (intentional radiator)." 47 CFR s 15.3(f).
Part 15 Wireless Interference rules Must accept interference from them and not cause interference to them.
FCC Fourth Sec. 706 Report (Sept. 2004)Initial trials of BPL have begun in Manassas , Va. ; Allentown , Penn. ; and Cincinnati , Ohio . [p.23] According to AARL "The FCC has issued 8 experimental licenses for BPL/PLC."
